Hope everyone had a good winter season! I had a wonderful time with my family celebrating Christmas, I had a lovely solstice/yule on my own, and look forward to bringing in the new year with Ryan.

Omigod, I haven't uploaded much for the past two months I. I'm caught up on commissions so I'm waiting on feedback for those folks. I have a PILE of art for folks, all in various stages of work.

I wanted to do that whole, 2009 monthly pic meme that's been going around, but I think most of the months might be empty, haha.

Also looked at my recent art watch and put in some new features. Yay art!

I have a lot of time I could be working on my digital art, but I can't because I'm away from my freaking nice computer. Visiting family has me on the slow and tired laptop. Even scanning is a chore... Can't wait to be back in Vegas and back on the shiny comp, doing my daily stuff um... a little more daily.

I'm back from California, back to belly dancing, and back in front of my sexy computer. I missed you baby, the laptop just doesn't do it for me anymore. <3 I missed being able to run Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop all at once.

Some situations that had been becoming parasitic for me... I finally got around to do something about them. I can't go into much detail, I felt a little scared about doing something, afraid I'd make the situations worse, but it was for the best and they are on the way to being resolved. It's a big weight off my chest - and the whole thing made me realize how much I need to be more assertive, and how much I should probably not put all my eggs in one basket.

I caught up on devs and comments - there were a lot of comments so I kind of breezed through. Breezy Steve. Even more devs - totally glazed over a lot of them. I think I watch too many people, lol.

I owe a couple of people some email, responses, and art, and I'll be on top of it, but... this week is just awful. There are things that have been waiting for me to come home for three months now to take care of, and I underestimated how much sorting out I would have to do when I got here.

Visiting California wasn't the relaxing thing I thought it would be. I feel really frazzled, and like my relaxation time is being monopolized by things that shouldn't be doing so. And I'm angry about some things that are going on... some I can't justify being mad at, but some are very VERY justifiable.

I'll be myself soon I just... need to get through what I have to this week.
